What you’ll be doing:

• preparing financial statements and management reports
• handling tax preparation and planning
• providing recommendations to improve systems and processes
• providing strategic advice and insights to help clients achieve their financial goals
• lending a supportive ear and offering valuable advice to clients, helping them navigate their financial challenges
• continuously seeking ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the firm
• managing a practice of clients, ensuring their needs are met with excellence and professionalism
• conducting research and providing written tax advice to clients
• keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and best practices.

Non-negotiables:

• Chartered Accountant qualification: You must be studying towards or have completed the Chartered Accountant program.
• Experience in public practice: Previous experience in a public accounting practice is essential.
• Experience with Xero and Excel: Proficiency in using Xero accounting software and Excel is required.
