The Position:
The role represents an exciting opportunity to be or become a Manager of your set of clients and team. It would be suitable for someone who is either wanting to step up from supervisor/assistant manager into a manager role.

About The Role:
– Review work performed by staff members in your team – specifically strategy
– Preparation of business advisory reports including cashflow projections
– Mentoring and training accountants in your team
– Managing your team’s workflow
– Meet With New and Existing Clients
– Initial New Client Meetings
– strategic client meetings

– strategic tax planning and structuring advice
– Tax & Compliance
Skills and experience:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a public practice firm
– Experience with working and communicating with clients
– Ability to prepare financial statements, tax returns & BAS end-to-end at a high level
– Moderate to High level of technical knowledge and be able to communicate this simply with clients (Div7a, GST, Tax)
– Ability to train junior staff members and perform reviews on all work including tax returns, BAS, tax planning and advisory reports
– Moderate to High level of Business Advisory, Advice and Tax Planning – eg Structuring, Tax Planning, CGT etc
– Experience using Xero and QuickBooks
