We are a friendly team of professionals specialising in Taxation & Business Services and we have a great opportunity available for an Experienced Public Practice Accountant to join our established Canberra firm.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years experience within an Australian accounting practice, who is keen to apply the skills they already have, and grow their career further in a supportive, thriving firm.

The Role

  • The position is located within our office in Weston Creek, Canberra
  • Initially you would be responsible for the preparation of business entity tax returns, financial statements & reports & BAS, along with other services provided to our small business clients.
  • You would work within one of our specialised teams to help provide high quality service to our broad client base.
  • As an experienced accountant you would also be involved in some mentoring and training of our trainees and graduates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting Firm
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Australian Accounting degree (completed or currently enrolled)
  • A can-do attitude & commitment to the role
  • The ability to obtain a ‘Standard’ strength MyGovID

Salary will be commensurate with individual experience and qualifications.
