Job Description

The accounting arm of our Group is seeking the services of a Tax Accountant.

We are a high profile practice with offices in Corowa NSW & Wangaratta VIC, with office space in Albury. We have a staffing level of 26.

Our Group consists of an Accounting Practice, a licensed Financial Planning arm and we also offer specialist Superannuation services.  Our Group offers a holistic approach to a variety of clients.

This position will see the successful applicant responsible for the following duties:

·         Managing your own client list

·         Consult on tax and business related matters directly with clients

·         Preparation of financial accounts, tax returns, BAS & IAS returns

The person we are looking for should enjoy working in a team environment and would have public practice experience.  This role in our Group offers a lot of client and staff contact, so excellent communication skills, along with a friendly outgoing personality and sense of humour are a must.  Experience with Xero, Xero add-ons and strong computer skills would be an advantage.  Formal qualifications are preferred but not essential.

Comprehensive work from home equipment will be provided, including screens and mobile phone, providing workplace flexibility when necessary.  We encourage and support ongoing education and training.

Remuneration will be dependent upon skills and experience.
