About The opportunity:

You will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of clients, overseeing the accounting workflow, looking for business advisory opportunities and providing exceptional client service. About The role Working alongside a Partner, and supported by junior accountants and admin support, you will focus on accounting, tax advisory and business advisory for a variety of clients which will give you exposure to a broad range of industries and structures.

The role is well suited for an ambitious individual looking to take on further senior responsibilities, and someone who can work on a portfolio of business and personal clients, whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships.

You will be responsible for client workflow, completing business financials and tax entities up to review stage and reviewing the work of junior accountants. Once the work is complete you will actively seek opportunities to offer additional advice to your clients.

The candidate must have great communication and interpersonal skills as there is a lot of client engagement and internal team interaction.

You will work in a team and be supported by a partner, 2 accountants and two team administrators.

About you

·         CA, CPA or IPA Qualified (or in progress)

·         Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in public practice

·         A friendly, committed and flexible attitude

·         In depth experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax       returns for individuals, companies and trusts

·         Experience with Div7A, trust distributions and multi entity clients.

·         Must have strong communication skills, excellent work ethic and have the ability to work as part of a team.

·          Driven to succeed and motivated

·         A positive attitude and a great willingness to learn

·          Be able to build strong relationships with clients

·         Have a passion for business advisory
