The Opportunity 

Findex currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). We offer flexibility with both permanent and max-term contracts available, and the option to work remotely from anywhere in Australia. 

This role is crucial for enhancing our client experience by scoping and implementing a new proprietary task management system and client portal. These digital platforms are key components of our national strategy to improve operational efficiencies (‘Our Best Way’). This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will engage with a range of stakeholders—from Executives and Developers to End Users—guiding the project from strategic planning through to execution. You will lead a matrixed team to design and implement a client-centric digital roadmap, ensuring that all client interactions are seamless and personalized throughout their journey with us. 

 

What will your typical week look like? 

  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with our vision, leveraging the latest technological advancements and best practices in the Financial Services Industry 
  • Work closely with Digital & Technology teams and external vendors to evaluate, select, and integrate digital tools, including our proprietary client portal, ensuring alignment with the digital strategy 
  • Develop detailed project plans, business cases, timelines, and budgets for digital initiatives. Proactively manage risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery 
  • Implement effective change management strategies to drive successful adoption of new digital processes and technologies. Provide training and support to internal teams, ensuring smooth integration and ongoing usage of new systems 

 

Let’s talk about you! 

To be successful you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes: 

  • Relevant experience managing large-scale (1000+ users) digital platform development and implementation projects 
  • Proven experience with client-facing portals and digital tools such as Salesforce (or equivalent CRM systems), Adobe Sign, and iManage 
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps, and experience working with software development teams to build custom solutions is desirable 
  • Experience in human-centred design and design thinking principles is advantageous 
  • Experience in large corporate environments, with exposure to financial or professional services being beneficial but not essential
